State of Play Games announced today the launch of Lume, the hit puzzle adventure game made entirely from paper and cardboard, on iPhone, iPod, iPad and the Mac App Store.

Following on from its Independent Games Festival 2012 Finalist nomination in Excellence in Visual Arts, and its huge success on the PC, Lume brings a fresh and beautiful approach to games and has a tactility and charm perfect for the iOS devices.

Created by the makers of hit iOS game Headspin: Storybook, Lume is a game with a style unlike any other, with a handmade set filmed in sumptuous high definition. The iPhone4 and iPad versions now have a higher resolution than the original and look gorgeous on the devices.

You play as a young girl called Lumi. Power to your grandad’s house has failed. What’s more, he’s nowhere to be seen. Immerse yourself in Lume’s photoreal world, solve perplexing paper puzzles to help restore the power, and uncover a deeper mystery behind the blackout.

Beautifully animated with handcrafted care, this illuminating puzzle adventure game will test your visual, aural and memory skills.

The game is available to download from Thursday 23rd February 2012 for the iPad, iPhone, iPod and Mac App Store.
